Socially Engaged Practice

In my outreach work I encourage and support individuals to pursue their own creative journey.  I supply materials and guidance following Reggio Emilia principles ie. focussing on process above results.  I have particular experience with pre and primary age children as well as a history of care and art facilitation for special needs, both children and adults. I welcome all groups or individuals looking for an art educator to support their journey.

My emphasis is in paint, sculpture, print and video but all media are considered. I favour natural and recyclable materials as well as working outdoors in nature wherever possible and I consider all with whom I make art to be collaborators and co-learners with me.

I have enjoyed working in many different settings including: Kids Love Nature Kindergarten Marwell Zoo, Mencap, Western Primary School Winchester, Chandler’s Ford Infants School, St Paul’s Preschool Winchester, Kings Worthy Primary School, The Dower House Kings Worthy and others.
